The three stages of our walk with God
The Believers (Elects) relationship with God as the Bible teaches:
First, as we believe in the gospel and repent from sin, we are justified by faith in Christ Jesus. (Justification).
Second, as we obey God's instructions and follow Jesus Christ's teachings , we are sanctified in the Word. (Sanctification).
Third, as we live in His righteousness, do justice and mercy, we are progressively transformed in His image and likeness... (Glorification)
Are there any Biblical references for these stages?
Yes. But it will need one volume each of 300 pages to fully cover those 3 topics. But outlines are given to challenge us to study and search the Scripture systematically. Example, Jesus gave an outline in KJV Matthew 22:37-40: "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." Now the "Law and the Prophets" is almost the entire TaNaKH - the original books of the Old Testament.
